Working with organisations
Most workplace problems that get treated as individual performance issues are structural. I work with organisations to find where everyday management practice, how meetings run, how feedback is given, how work is allocated, is asking people to contribute less than they're capable of, and to redesign it.
There are two ways to do that: embedded, ongoing support, or a defined piece of work with a clear scope and end point.
Fractional Support
Not every organisation needs, or can resource, a full-time OD or L&D lead. I work as a fractional partner, embedding alongside your team to provide senior-level thinking and delivery on the days and projects you need it most.
This might include:
Diagnosing what's really driving a culture, engagement, or performance issue
Building or refreshing a leadership development or L&D strategy
Leading a change or transformation initiative through to completion
Coaching internal teams on facilitation, instructional design, or people strategy
Providing senior OD capacity during a restructure, merger, or period of rapid growth
Running a structural audit of where everyday management practice is asking people to manage themselves down, and building the plan to change it
How it works: Engagements typically run from a few days a month to a few days a week, depending on scope. We'll agree the shape of the work in an initial conversation.
This kind of support is built for organisations dealing with:
Culture that looks good on paper but does not match daily experience
Leadership teams that are well intentioned but reactive rather than strategic
Burnout or attrition that keeps getting treated as an individual problem
Learning and development that is not changing behaviour
Building genuinely inclusive, neuroinclusive practice, not just policy
Change processes that are losing trust faster than they are building buy in
Unlike a single workshop or session, this work is ongoing and embedded:
Regular, scheduled time with your team, not a one-off engagement
Involvement in decisions as they are being made, not a report delivered afterward
Flexibility to move between strategic advisory, delivery, and coaching as the work requires
Continuity, the same person who diagnosed the issue stays through to resolving it
I work flexibly and collaboratively, adapting support to the needs, structure, and pace of each organisation.
Workshops & Facilitation
Every session is built for you, not off the shelf or recycled from other companies' training decks. Designed to leave people with something they can actually use, not just a good feeling for an afternoon.
I run standalone sessions, away days, and multi part learning programmes, depending on what your team needs. Each one is grounded in organisational psychology and adapted to your specific context.
Available online, in person, or hybrid.
Sessions cover topics including:
Neurodiversity and the workplace
Human-centred leadership
Psychological safety and communication
Workplace culture and behaviour
Inclusive and accessible practice
Learning and reflective practice
Team dynamics and collaboration
Sustainable approaches to work and wellbeing
Sessions are always adapted to the context, needs, and culture of the organisation.
Sessions take the form of:
workshops and training sessions
facilitated discussions
leadership development sessions
away days and reflective team sessions
online learning experiences
learning design and programme development
keynote talks and guest facilitation
